MR A. S. HOUSTON. SECRETARY FOR AGRICULTURE. (By Telegraph—Press Asociation.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The death has occurred of Mr A. S. Houston, Secretary to the Department cf Agriculture. He served for 37 years :>t various Government departments and took a prominent part in the activitics of the Public Service Associa-' tion. He was a member of the Public' Service Appeal Board. Mr Houston saw service in lhe South African War. He loaves a widow but no family.
