BRITISH WAR FINANCE GILT-EDGED MINIMUM PRICES. FIXED BY STOCK EXCHANGE COMMITTEE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 11.35 a.m.) LONDON. March 18. The Stock Exchange’ committee has fixed new higher minimum prices for eighteen British Government securities, including 21 per cent Consols. £7O 10s; four per cent Funding Loan. £lOB 10s; 31 per cent War Loan. £95; 31 per cent Conversion Loan, £95; and four per cent Victory Bonds. £lO7. Minima for all other gilt edged securities. including Dominion issues, arc being fixed in a few days. Financial newspapers say this shows that the authorities intend to finance the war on a three per cent basis for stocks of moderation duration.
