The New Zealand Stock Exchange has received cabled advice from the Australian Iron and Steel Co announcing its intention to declare a dividend, payable on May 1 this year, on preference shares, for the two and a half years ending on May 1, 1940, at the rate of 7J per cent per annum, subject to a reduction of 221 per cent under the Interest Reduction Act.
