CENTENNIAL MEETING. FURTHER CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS ■ TONIGHT. At the Dixon Street Baths this ’veiling the Masterton Amateur Swimming Club will hold a further series if its 1939-40 championships as its part in Hie local Centennial celebrations. The following will be the programme: —25yds junior boys’ breaststroke championship; 25yds junior ooys’ backstroke championship; 25yds junior girls” breaststroke championship: 25yds junior girls’ backstroke shampionship; 100yds intermediate aoys’ freestyle championship; 50yds ntermediate boys’ backstroke championship; intermediate boys’ diving .■hampionship; dives. 1 standing. 1 .■mining, 1 compulsory pike. 1 optional. 15yds intermediate girls' freestyle shainpionship: 25yds intermediate girls' backstroke championship; intermediite girls' diving champjonship; dives, ;ame as boys; 25yds ladies' freestyle shampionship: ladies’ diving championthip; dives, same as boys: 25yds ladies’ arcastsli’oke championship; 50yds men’s freestyle championship; 25yds open lash.'
If time and conditions permit tVtc following handicaps will also be helld: 25yds junior boys’ freestyle handicap, 25yds junior girls' freestyle handicap. 25yds intermediate boys’ freestyle handicap. 25yds intermediate girls’ breastitroke handicap, open dive. 1 running, 1 compulsory hunch. 1 optional.
