WAR EXPENDITURE
VOTE OF 700 MILLIONS IN BRITAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. < Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) LONDON. March 8. A vote of credit of 700 millions for expenditure arising from the war is being presented to the House of Commons on March 13. This recalls the September credit of 500 millions of Treasury issues. The vote is in accordance witli the war time practice of not submitting the Estimates of certain Departments.
