RINGING THE BELL

9 MORE LYING PROPAGANDA IN GERMANY. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. March 7. It has been announced from Zeesen that a bell from a “renowned German liner” will be rung to announce losses and. ships sunk by German action. It is noted in London naval circles that the initiation of this latest German propaganda toy has been based on a palpable falsehood. On Thursday morning the German broadcastersounded the bell twice and announced that a British ship, the San Florentine, had been torpedoed and sunk. The San Florentino, however, is quite undamaged and has not even been attacked.
