WORKERS’ MUTUAL BENEFIT. A general meeting of the shareholders of the No. 2 Workers’ Mutual Benefit Building Society was held on Thursday evening. Mr R. Krahagen, chairman. presided over a fair attendance of shareholders. Mrs M. L. Morris was nominated to craw the marbles for the purposes of the ballot. The successful shareholders at the ballots were Mr J. A. Russell and Mr Frank Henry. Each was de-’ clared entitled to an advance of £4OO free of interest. A tender of £290 10s was accepted for £BOO offered by sale in the B group. _____
