Profits earned by the Commonwealth Bank for the half-year ended December 31 were £885,254, this being an increase of £177,683 over the preceding half-year. Deposits were £10,518.212 higher, at £97,680.388 compared with a year ago. Depositors’ balances in the Savings Bank at December 31 totalled £148.294,322.
