With the object of averting a. political crisis, a conference was held last night between the Prime Minister (Air Menzies) and the Leader of the Country Party, Air Cameron, when a proposal for a composite ministry was discussed. It is revealed that. Air Alenzies offered five places in the Cabinet, including three full (portfolios, to the Country Party. This offer is being submitted to a full meeting of the Country Party.
