YOUNG FARMERS
MASTERTON CLUB ANNUAL MEETING. SUCCESSFUL YEAR RECORDED. The annual meeting of the Masterton Young Farmers’ Club was held in the Farmers' Rooms last evening. The president road the /annual report, which showed a very successful year. The balance sheet also showed, a successful financial year, a credit balance of £27 Ils lid being recorded. The Attendance Cup was won by Mr K. Donovan and Mr W. Cooper. The A. H. Falloon Cup. presented to the speaker giving the best short talk of the year, was won by Mr G. Blatchford. Officials elected for this year were:— Chairman. Mr J. S. McKay; secretary. Mr H. Baninster; treasurer. Mr W. Cooper; reporter. Mr C. A. McKay; executive. Messrs G. Blaich Cord, D. McGregor and C. McKay: district committee delegates, Messrs N. Blatchford, D. McLachlan and A. P. Southey: auditor. Mr R. H. Williams; advisory president. Mr N. Blatchford: supper stewards. Messrs F. Stowell. E. Morris and K. Donovan. Arrangements were made for the Centennial procession. After the meeting an enjoyable supper was served. The next meeting will be held on April 3. All interested are invited to attend.
