RIVERSIDE HOLDING EASTER TOURNAMENT. LINKS IN GOOD ORDER. An inspection of the Riverside Golf Liks was made during the weekend with a view to holding a tournament during Easter. The recent rain had freshened the greens greatly and immediate steps are being taken to topdress them and generally put the links in order. The committee decided to hold a tournament on March 23. 24 and 25, and is arranging a first-class programme for all players at a very nominal fee. Good entries are anticipated. That these links are very popular is proved by the number of visitors who play there in addition to members, and to further popularise them the green fees have been reduced to Is 6d per round.

Despite the war and other drawbacks the club is looking forward to a very successful season.
