Ltd., Wellington 1,000 Farmers' Trading Co., Auckland (for one year) 25,000 Ohura Bowling Club 200 F. R. Maddox. North Auckland 200 Quick,shine. Ltd.. Christchurch 500 Barton and Ross, Hamilton 1,000 Walker and Hobson. Ltd., Wellington 500 A member of the Legislature .... 500 Large Wellington importing house 500 Quill, Morris, Ltd 1,000 G. F. Pearce, Wellington 1,000 A trustee company on behalf of a client 1.000 Besides the above-mentioned amounts, said Mr Nash, oilers had already been received by the Government from several other firms and organisations, in particular from a large retail house, which had promised to donate to the War Expenses Account all its profits for the duration of the war. A similar offer had been made by another large importing firm.
