The Barrytown dredge return for February was 1123 oz: 416 hours were worked and 159,000 yards were excavated. The Kanieri return was 112 oz for 461! hours worked and 255.000 yards were excavated. The Arahura dredge return for February was 25670 z for 555 hours worked and 372.000 yards excavated. The Golden Sands dredge returned 45 oz for 69 shifts and the Argo dredge 370 z for 130 hours, with 12.500 yards excavated. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, March 4. The Clutha River dredge at Alexandra for the week ended March 1 work - ed 128 hours for 520 z of gold. AUCKLAND. March 4. The Malaki dredge return for the week ended March 1 was 20oz from 11.000 cubic yards worked in 128 hours.
