DISCOVERIES BY ADMIRAL BYRD. MOUNTAIN-DOTTED PENINSULA. By Telegraph—Press Association— -Copyright. (Received This Day. 05 a.m.) WASHINGTON, March 1. Admiral Byrd reports the discovery cf a large peninsula and two islands on Antarctica’s South Pacific coast. He added: “From a GOOD feet altitude, we saw a mountain-dotted peninsula projecting seaward for 190 miles.”
