The richest royal apparel found since that of Tutankamen was revealed when the double sarcophagus of Psou Psennes. recently unearthed, was opened in the presence of King Farouk. The lifting of the lid disclosed silver and gold coffins. The former outlined a form and features and bore a golden crown. The latter, with jewellery heaped on it, contained the monarch’s mummv. disintegrated by humidity.
