NO APPEAL.—H. B. Warner, an official from the American Embassy in Brussels, is halted by George Sanders when he attempts to gain admittance to the German military Governor of the city, to appeal against the death sentence imposed on Nurse Edith Cavell. Edith Cavell, who is played by Anna Neagle, has been accused and convicted of helping wounded Allied soldiers to escape to their own lines, under cover of a hospital that she ran in Brussels. The screening of this great drama commences at the State Theatre tonight.
