PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT
INSPECTION OF PANAMA DEFENCES. RETURING TO UNDISCLOSED HOME PORT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) BALBOA (Canal Zone), Febuary 27. President Roosevelt today inspected the Pacific defences of the Panama Canal and conferred with President Boyd of Panama and military and naval commanders. He also viewed the progress' of work on an airfield costing 23 million dollars.
Mr Roosevelt is returning to an undisclosed United States port.
