EXPORT CHEESE
BRITAIN TAKING WHOLE SUPPLY. ALLIED JOINT PURCHASE PLANS. Food for Great Britain and France is being bought jointly under an Allied arrangement by which the two countries do not bid against each other in foreign markets, a radio message reports. This was announced by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food, who said that Britain bought food for the two countries in the British Empire, and France in her colonial empire. In neutral countries the Allies bought jointly. It was also revealed that Britain had contracted with Australia and New Zealand to take all the cheese they could send, and that negotiations for a similar contract were going on with Canada.
