Y.M.C.A. HELPERS

MEETING OF LADIES' AUXILIARY. There was a good attendance at th : e monthly meeting of the Y.M.C.A. Ladies' Auxiliary, held yesterday, when Mrs M. G. Mac Kay presided. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Kilgour. Coddington, Beecroft and Bannister. It was decided to give all the assistance possible to the coming campaign for Patriotic Funds. Various ladies volunteered to form a team in this connection and Mrs Mac Kay was nominated as captain. It was decided to pay over an amount of £l5 to the funds of the association. Tentative plans for various activities and functions for the coming year were discussed at some length. It was decided -to hold the annual meeting of the auxiliary on Tuesday, April 2. At the conclusion of the meeting, afternoon tea was served by the hostesses for the day, Mrs Clarke and Mrs Hessell.
