LEARN TO SWIM
CAMPAIGN IN MASTERTON. At the Masterton Swimming Club’s meeting tonight, a demonstration in connection with learning to swim will be given by Mr S. McNicol, the Department of Internal Affairs Recreational Officer. Swimming members of the club will assist Mr McNicol and act as subjects. This should be a very interesting and profitable display, as no citizen should be without at least an elementary knowledge of the art of swimming.
During the rest of this week competent instructors will be on duty at the baths between 7 and 8 p.m., and will gladly assit those desirous of learning to swim. If it is not convenient to attend the baths in the evenings, arrangements to suit prospective learners will willingly be made. Anyone interested is invited to communicate with the hon. secretary of the Swimming Club. Mr R. Barnes, or with any member of the club.
