PRE-WEDDING PARTY
MISS D. ROBAND HONOURED. A large number of friends attended the Fire Brigade Hall last evening when Miss Dora Roband, who is to be married shortly, was the guest of honour. After supper Mr G. Gray asked Miss Roband to come forward and openthe parcels which she did amidst applause. Mr R. Linton expressed thanks on behalf of Miss Roband and himself for the good wishes expressed and the many fine gifts. The music for the dancing was supplied by Te Tati’s Orchestra.
