RAMMED BY ENEMY VESSELS. ACCORDING TO GERMAN OFFICER (Received This Day. 1.15 p.m.) ROTTERDAM, February 2G. The commander of a German minesweeper told a neutral, just returned from Germany, how the British submarines Undine and Starfish were sunk. He said his mine-sweeper was lying in a line with others, awaiting relief, when one of the British submarines suddenly came to the surface, 200 yards ahead. The commander of the mine-sweeper ordered fullspeed ahead and rammed her. The submarine reappeared in ten minutes’ time flying a white flag. The . other submarine was sunk in exactly the same way. The Germans are unaware of the fate of the Seahorse.
