RUSSIAN CLAIMS
MANY STRONG POINTS CAPTURED. IN FINNISH FORTIFIED ZONES. (Received This Day. 10.20 a.m.) LENINGRAD, February 26. A communique states that, breaking through the enemy’s fortified zones, the Russians captured twenty-eight strong points. The Finns made repeated but unsuccessful counter-attacks. Ten of their planes were shot down in air combats.
