DUNEDIN APPRAISEMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, February 24. The third wool appraisal of Dunedin for the 1939-40 season has been concluded. catalogues totalling 19,165 bales being dealt with. The quality, as at both prior appraisements was an important factor, and it was unfortunate for the Otago vendors that the general condition and appearance of the wool showed no change. Most of the clips bore signs of the severe weathering experienced early in the season. The top price realised was 20Jd for one bale of super merino, and the best price for halfbred was ISjfd the figure put on four bales of super halfbred hogget wool from Moa Creek.
