PARK CLUB. CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITIONS. The following are the results of games played at the Park during the week: — Champion fours (semi-final). —Roff. Osborne, Duckworth. Bell 26. defeated Wilder. Carr, Thompson. Shearer 19. The same teams will contest the final. Champion singles.—Simpson 17 defeated Wallace 7. Simpson 20 defeated Thompson 17 (final). Handicap singles.—Wallace 19 defeated Kilgour 13. MASTERTON CLUB. COMPETITION RESULTS. (Notes by “The Bowler.”) Bowlers in attendance on the Masterton Green were again disappointed, as it was raining steadily and the greens were unfit for play. As the Masterton Club is fortunate in having a billiard table in the pavilion. a number of players, took part in a game of snooker, and to some extent were able to alleviate their feelings. Club Fours. A small number of games, is still to be played, in this competition. Each player will take part in eight games. 'Die leaders in the various positions are as follows: — Leads: W. Russell 7 wins. G. Blane. P. Trevorrow and E. Holthcim five wins each. No. 2 —S. Holdsworth six wins, T. T. Denbee and Guthrie-Smith five wins each.
No. 3 —W. McCullough six wins, Carstens four wins.
Skips—J. Maxwell six wins. L. J. Hughes and A. Stubbings four wins each. .Champion Pairs. Further results' are as follows: —J. Skeet and W. Christian (s) beat W. Davies and F. Percy (s); Bannister and Carstens (s) beat F. Mills and W. Hendry (s). and also beat W. Davies and F. Percy (s). Champion of Champion Singles. No play was recorded in this competition on account of the rain.
