WOMEN’S DIVISION

VISIT OF MRS N. ADAMS. Mrs Noel Adams, Dominion President of the W.D.F.U., will pay next week her first visit to the Wairarapa in her presidential capacity. An afternoon is being given in her honour by the Wairarapa Council at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday. February 27 at the Country Women’s Chib. Members are asked to make a special effort to attend, and may bring with them interested friends. The charge for admission will be 6d. Colonel and Mrs Adams will motor through to Wellington from Waitemata and during their stay in Masterton will be the guests of Mr and Mrs T. R. Barrer. February 29 is "Country Women’s Day” at the Exhibition, during which Mrs Adams will give a talk on “The Empire.”
