Patriotic Committee. Miss Card occupied the cnair at a meeting held yesterday afternoon of the Patriotic Committee. It was decided to hold a shop day on Friday, March 8, in the Town Hall at 2 p.m. ..There would be produce, cake, sweets? flowers and jumble stalls, and ice cream and soft drinks and afternoon tea would be available. The Borough Clerk, Mr H. Rolls, has received £5 5s for the Provincial Patriotic Fund, from the Wairarapa Concrete Company. Bowling. One rink from Featherston will be in the Wairarapa team to play matches against Manawatu at Palmerston North on Saturday, March 2.
