Mrs Charles Elgar, Featherston, is visiting Wellington. Miss Mary James, Upper Plain, is spending a few days in Martinborough. Mrs H. M. Morton, of Masterton, is visiting Dunedin. Mr and Mrs A. H. Pavitt, Whakataki, were guests yesterday at the Hotel Midland, Masterton. ■ Mrs J. M. Meredith, Renall Street, Masterton, is spending a month in North Auckland. Mr and Mrs Sydney Smith, The Terrace, Lansdowne, are staying at Seatoun, Wellington. Mrs Dunbar, King Edward Street, Lansdowne, has returned from a visit to Stewart Island. Mrs J. M. Jafnes, Wangaehu. who has been visiting Wellington, has returned home. Mrs Emmerson, of Dunedin, is visiting the North Island, and at present is staying at Kent House, Colombo Road, Masterton. Misses Joan Allen and Daphne Allen, Upper Plain, have returned to New Zealand after an extended tour of England.
