Crematorium Urged.

The establishment of a crematorium in the Wairarapa was urged by the Mayor. Mr T. Jordan, when speaking at last night's meeting of the Masterton borough Council regarding an address given recently at the annual conference of the New Zealand branch of the Royal Sanitary Institute. The Wellington, Westland and Nelson Labourers' and Related Trades Union will hold meetings in Masterton on Thursday at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., and at Eketahuna on Friday, at 8 p.m., at which prominent representatives of the Union will be present and deliver addresses. The meetings at Masterton will be held at the Y.M.C.A. Hall. Church Street. An advertisement in. connection with the meetings will be found on page 1.
