MESSAGE FROM THE KING. GRATITUDE FOR CONTRIBUTION TO EMPIRE EFFORT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) RUGBY, February 14. A message from the King was read when Mr Anthony Edon visited the Cairo camps. The Indian troops' message. which was addressed to all ranks, stated: "1 greatly appreciate the contribution the Indian Army is making to the war effort of the British Empire and 1 know that, as in the Groat War, they will prove themselves equal to any demands that may bo made upon them."

Mr Eden expressed Britain's deep gratitude for the presence, of. the Indian troops. Mr Eden loaves for Palestine tomorrow.
