MR R. G. CASEY
FIRST AUSTRALIAN MINISTER TO U.S.A. ARRIVAL ATHONOLULU. PURPOSE OF APPOINTMENT. (Revived This Dav, 12.25 p.m.) HONOLULU. February 14. Mr R. G. Casey, on his arrival, said lie was enthusiastic over his appointment as the first Australian Minister to the United States. The solo purpose was the strengthening of friendship and understanding between the countries, to try to interpret the Australian point of view to America and vice versa.
