The Hon W. E. Parry. Minister of Internal Affairs, returned to Wellington yesterday from the north.
Mr William C. Lamb has entered the Wellington Hospital to undergo a further operation as a result of war wounds received in 1918.
The Rev K. Harawira, Rotorua, has been appointed chaplain to the Maori Battalion on the recommendation of the Anglican Military Affairs Committee.
The death occurred al Lower Hull on Monday of Mr Charles Edward Brcmner. formerly of Masterton. where many years ago- he was engineer to the Masterton County Council.
