The Government has decided to introduce a Bill authorising the construction of three battle-cruisers. To meet the cost of mobilisation, the Government has introduced a Bill raising death duties by 15 per cent, petrol duly by 21d a gallon, the sugar excise duty by 10 per cent and the import duty on cofi’ee by 3d a lb.
