The heads of every group in the Chamber of Deputies signed a motion expressing confidence in M Daladier, after ■ which M Harriot, said: "The searching, secret session debate has dispelled certain legends, established truth and enabled the Premier to talk in a manner simple, familiar and infinitely moving and national unity has been strikingly and decisively confirmed. The Deputies stood up. -applauding. when the Chamber adjourned.
