GLAZED CHERRIES
DELICIOUS WITH HAM. Glazed cherries are delicious with ham, pork or veal. Pour a cupful of seeded cherries (tinned or fresh) into a frying pan. Sprinkle half a cupful of granulated sugar over them, and simmer until the cherries are well glazed. One tablespoonful of lemon juice and a quarter of a teaspoonful of cinnamon give a little extra lift. These cherries go well With fried chicken, too.
