YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB

+ MEETING IN MASTERTON. There was a fair attendance at the monthly meeting of the Masterton branch of the Young Farmers’ Club. It was decided to donate £3 to the Masterton A. and P. Association. Mr G. Blatchford and the members of his team were congratulated on the excellent showing they made in the national judging competition. Mr J. Andrew, of lea. spoke on his recent trip abroad. He gave a very interesting description of the Windsor Show, Smithfield and various other places including the House of Commons. Mr Andrew was accorded a vote of thanks on the motion of Mr W. Cooper. Supper was provided. A general meeting will be held in the Farmers' Rooms on March 6.
