Mr A. A. Riggir, of Putaruru, who is well known for the helpful work he has done in connection with the liberation of the ragwort seedfly, a parasite that will attack the seed heads of the ragwort plant, reports that the fly has made its appearance again in Putaruru. He says that it is much larger and more vigorous than previously, but he will later report on its success in tittacking the plants. As this is the second year the fly has appeared in Putaruru, there can be no doubt about the success of the liberation of the fly. says Mr Riggir.
