There is considerable speculation a to whether the Victorian champion whose heal tlr is now reported to b good, will triumph over the forme New Zealander. Acceptances for the C. F. Orr Stake are: Ajax 9.5; Manrico 8.13; Adios Maikai 8.5: High Caste 8.2; Landlaw 8.0; Reading 7.13: Amiable 7.10; Kanur 7.9; Magic Circle 7.8: The Albatross 7.3; French Legion 7.0.
