MONTHLY MEETING
("Times-Age" Special.)
Mrs Burton presided over a fair attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the Kaiparoro Women's Institute. Nominations were taken for the new committee.
Mrs Jennings, Makuri, gave an interesting talk on the Institute in war time, for which she was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The competitions for the month were won as follow: —Sugar bag apron: Mrs Jim Dick, 1; Miss A. Dick, 2. Plum jam: Mrs Braddick, 1; Mrs Burton, 2. Best flower: Miss B. Parry, 1: Mrs McAnualty Junr., 2. The judges were Mrs Jennings and Mrs Harvey. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the hostesses. Mesdames G. Hansen. A. Falkner and G. Braddick.
