DAY OF PRAYER

WORLD WIDE MOVEMENT.

LOCAL OBSERVANCE ON FRIDAY’

In connection with the Womens World-wide Day of Prayer, which tails this year on Friday, it is interesting to note that women of more than fifty countries will observe the day together, thus forming a chain of prayer which girdles the earth. The women of New Zealand will begin the day of prayer and the last country where a gathering will be held will be in St. Lawrence Island, off the coast of Alaska.

The local gathering will be held on Friday, in the Salvation Army Hall, commencing at 2 p.m., when representatives of the various Protestant churches will in turn lead the meeting. All women are invited to attend one or more periods as their time permits.
