AIR FORCE PLANE MAKES FORCED LANDING
PILOT ESCAPES INJURY. ACCIDENT IN CHRISTCHURCH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. This Day. A Vickers Vildebeest aeroplane from the Wigram Air Force station, when making a forced landing alongside the canal reserve in tlie city this afternoon, dived nose first into the Drainage Board's storm-water canal. The pilot, who was flying solo, was not injured. .
