AMBITIOUS ITALIAN SCHEME. OLD AQUEDUCTS TO BE UTILISED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) ROME. February 5. Signor Mussolini has approved a twenty' million sterling scheme for irrigation works serving 2! million acres, covering seven years and providing a canal from the sources of Die Po to the Adriatic. The scheme will servo lands in Emilia and Romagna, while Southern Italy will also be widely irrigated. The development of aqueducts constructed in the Roman era is contemplated.
