MOVE TO SOLVE DIFFERENCES. GANDHI AND VICEROY CONFER. The constitutional future of India and moves to solve the differences between the Congress Party' and the Moslems are being considered at New Delhi, where Mahatma Gandhi has gone to meet the Viceroy, the Marquess of Linlithgow, states a broadcast from Daventry.
Their interview yesterday lasted two hours and a half. It is expected that an official statement will be issued almost immediately. It is announced that Mr Gandhi will meet the president of the Moslem League, Mr Jinnah. later in lhe week.
The opinion that the setting up of coalition Cabinets in the provinces for the duration of the war would solve the difficulties was expressed by lhe Moslem Premier of Bengal. “f am strong enough in Bengal." he said, "yet in lhe best interests of the country as a whole J am prepared to take Congress members into my Cabinet.” PRIVATE TALK.
