MINISTERS’ ASSOCIATION

SERVICE OF THANKSGIVING. TO MARK CENTENNIAL IN MASTERTON. “'The Masterton Ministers’ Association has considered the matter of holding a united Centennial service of thanksgiving,” stated the president, the Rev. David McNeur, at a meeting held in Masterton last night to discuss the local Centennial celebrations. “We propose that it be held at the Masterton Park on Sunday, March 10, at 3 o’clock. The two National anthems, the British and the New Zealand, and appropriate hymns will be sung. The various ministers will lead in prayers of general confession, thanksgiving, and intercession. The Masterton Municipal Band will lead in the musical part of the service. The grand-stand will be reserved for official speakers, and people of mature years will be allowed in the stand.”

It was decided by the meeting to leave the arrangements for the service in the hands of the Ministers Association.
