INCREASE IN NEW ZEALAND

Mr W. T. Ikin, manager for New Zealand of the Australian Mutual Provident Society, has received advice from his Head Office in Sydney that the total new business for the year was £22,419.571 in the ordinary department and £6,983,742 in the industrial department, a total of £29,403,313. which represents an increase of £298,630 over 1938.

The ordinary department new business in New Zealand was £5.412,785. which shows an increase of £651,155 over 1938 figures.
