WEDDING
.NELSON—BUCKLEY.
On Saturday, January 27, at St. Patrick's Church, Masterton. Margaret Ann, third daughter of Mr P. S. Buckiey, was married to Arthur Henry, eldest son of Mr and Mrs H. Nelson, of Ongarue. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Moore. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a charming gown of cream lace, the bodice having a high neckline finished with clusters of seed pearls. Her headdress was a close fitting cap of cream flowers, with a shoulder veil and she carried a bouquet of gladiolas and dahlias in cream and lemon tonings.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Josephine Buckley, who wore a pale pink frock of sprigged organdie made in Victorian style and a halo of pink, velvet flowers. She carried shaded pink carnations. Mr Arnold Powell, of Taumarunui, was best man.
A few relatives and old friends of both families were entertained at ths Cosy Tea Rooms and afterwards at the home of the bride. The guests were received by Miss M. Buckley, aunt of the bride, and Mrs H. Nelson, mother of the bridegroom. When Mr and Mrs Nelson left for a tour of Hawke's Bay the bride was wearing a blue suit with navy sailor hat and accessories. Thenfuture home will bo in Ongarue.
