INTERHOUSE ASSOCIATION
PARADE OF GIRLS' TEAMS
MARKED EFFICIENCY SHOWN.
A full parade of the Girls’ Interhouse teams was held last night under the guidance of Miss Thompson, of the Physical Welfare Department, when all teams showed marked efficiency and considerable enthusiasm with regard to the proposed Centennial display at Easter.
At a meeting of the general committee held last night, matters were further advanced with regard to this special demonstration, and it was decided at the request of the Physical Welfare Department, which is sponsoring the display, that last year's winning team give a display of marching at the Exhibition. This is being done by all Interhouse Associations’ winning teams with a view of giving the public an idea as to the different types of drill that are being done in each town. Arrangements are well in hand for the special train to convey the team and supporters to Wellington on Easter Saturday morning. It is proposed to hold another Interhouse dance next month to further augment funds for (his special occasion.
