HITLER TO SPEAK

SEVENTH NAZI ANNIVERSARY NO CELEBRATIONS. COUNTRY FORCED INTO WAR. At the last minute Herr Hitler has decided to make a speech on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the Nazis coming into power, states a Daventry broadcast. The date of the anniversary is January 30. A German news agency has announced that Herr Hitler will make a speech, which will be broadcast by all German stations. In the past the Nazis have always celebrated this day but this year there are to be no celebrations. However, newspapers have printed articles dealing with the achievements of the Nazi Party and also refer to the war, a typical comment being that “young and virile Germans have been forced into a war they do not want.”
