In the Gawith Shield contest. Masterton scored a win over Carterton by 13 matches to 11. In the B grade Masterton Park beat Memorial. A GRADE. Masterton v Carterton. The following were the results. In the C grade competition Masterton Park scored a good win over St Matthew’s by 23 matches to 1, the standard of tennis, however, owing to the weather, being very poor. Memorial beat College by 20 matches to 4.

Carrington Park beat St Patrick’s by 19 matches to 5.
