OBITUARY

MR J. A. SWANSON. The many friends in Masterton of Mi’ John August Swanson will regret to learn of his death, which took place al. Wellington on Sunday. The late Mr Swanson, who was in his eightieth year, resided for about 30 Io 35 years in Mastertc'ii. prior to taking up his residence at Wellington". He was in the employ of Messrs C. E. Daniell Ltd. for many years. Mr Swanson, who was in excellent health prior to meeting with an accident some weeks ago. is survived by a widow and a family of four sons and *wo daughters, namely Mesdames W. Rigg (Masterton). P. Minilie < Wellington) and Messrs J. G. Swanson (Masterton), N. F. Swanson (Gladstone) and E. C. Swanson (Lower Hutt).
